No doubt. My first home was a 1000 sq ft starter back in 02. We got it for $80k before the artificial boom started here. Sold it for 155k after sinking 20k of our own money into it.Not much better here. But this is a first home...no equity and no real savings...all my savings are pretty much in stocks/bonds.
What I figure is me and teh gf get a place where I can afford all the "mandatory" things like mortage/utlilities...and she gets the extra nicer things like cable, internet, groceries, etc....those kind of things. While the house may be smallish, we can still have a nice lifestyle.
Well maybe not now. Haven't looked into the prices since the bust. When we bought this, 80-90k was a 2bed 1 bath shanty that needed work. Maybe you can get a little more, but I doubt much more, especially down there in Pinellas.
probly made a copy of the key haha. Thats pretty wild, flip you could be dead right now.Gatlinburg, TN.
and I agree with the second part. We slept with the door locked but I think someone got in somehow and messed with stuff while we were asleep. I don't notice anything stolen or missing....just moved around.
Don't go to an apartment in the ghetto //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifI don't like apts.
1) Someone broke into my truck at an apt.
2) They play loud music at all hours
3) People door ding my truck
4) They have babies that make noise
5) They smoke weed in the stair well.
F*ck an apt.
I never had such occurances when i lived in an apartmentI have never seen an apt complex where those 5 events did not occur. From section 8 housing to greater than $2k per month. Those 5 things always occur.
Well you saw that POS stock location in the pic. I have seen a couple of people with the same problem and they approched the problem the same as I am. One, made the same kind of baffle, but ended up doing a fiberglass job on his doors. My mid install came out fairly well.
LMWAO (at the funny part)I live my the rule of 3. I keep three times my monthly salary in the savings account at all times for disasters such as a car dying, walls fall down, get fired, etc.
None have happened so far, so it must work.
