What are your guys thoughts on a prenup? In case of a divorce, we could split the kids 25/75, so hopefully we have four kids or else this could get messy.

As far as the fake diamonds go, there used to be a way to tell using UV light at some special frequency. (Not something she could do herself, or most diamond retailers)

But the newest and most advanced man made diamonds cannot be told apart from real ones. At all. Finding a perfect man made one may not be that easy though because I'm sure there are plenty of older ones around still.

I have about the same amount of use for an $8k TV as I do an $8k ring.

There are ways of hiding assets though, opening up accounts in trusted friend's names, parents names, etc.

but she picked it out for a wedding with a different person is what I'm saying. I'm not saying the guy picks out the wedding dress. I think flip understands where I am coming from because we have been sending pm's back and forth. I'm just saying this is a new beginning.........

Yes and no. Wedding dresses are ALL about her on her day. It doesn't have association with the groom. I know someone who bought her dress before getting serious with any man(koo koo). The dress was chosen because she liked it, not because she loved someone. I agree with SMs take on it.

My relative got her dress for another man and still plans on using it. Females picture themselves in wedding dresses when they are 12. It is for their moment not the groom's.
