I actually have a phone line -- but no phone hooked to it. It's part of my cable package but I have grwon so used to just relying on my cell that I do not miss the land line.

Well thanks for clearing that up. So basically, the engagement ring is the one with the big a55 rock on it and then the wedding ring is just a band?

Or in my case the wedding ring is a jacket. The eng ring fits in between the wedding ring. No need to have it permanently fused with this route.

Cleaning the house, doing the laundry, and washing dishes gets old REAL fast.

cleaning the house is easy. Laundry is simple.
Dishes are a snap, all you need is a dishwasher and a dog.

In some situations. In my situation, they wedding ring has a crap load of little diamonds on it and the engagement ring has the big *** one.
This can be dangerous however. My studies have shown that if you do this, the woman then wants another one to match the wedding ring with all of the smaller diamonds for the other side of the engagement ring.

The jacket I bought my wife has many diamonds on it too.

Did you spend $8k on a ring? That just seems crazy, but then I look at the prices,....

I didn't but I was making that much back then. I did follow the rule though. I still would have if I was making good money then as well.
