also, to change subjects. What do you guys think about buying a digital picture frame as a valentines day gift? I've been researching them like mad and been finding some great stuff.

Chevy, I am gonna run the mag at 1.05 sealed...I don't expect much authority....I wonder if will blend better than my Q. I have my doubts.

If you can't get it to blend in sealed, then you expect too much. It's output plummets, but it gets a real gradual slope. No over abundance anywhere in the range. If this was a problem with your Q in sealed then I would say you need to play with processing more, because it is your car with the gremlin, not the drivers.

I do not like the sound of ported boxes. Everyone I have heard sound boomy and do not intergrate with the front stage well due to a higher peak.

Processing. I like ported for rap, but find good amount of processing am ust to tame them for other genres. I am doing sealed with my old HE2s right now though. I will agree, sealed takes to most genres better, generally speaking.

I guess I didn't explain correctly...I like how the Q sounds....I am curious if the Mag can sound better...and if so, how. Which is the reason I wanted to test it.

Well if it is better, I doubt by much or whether it is noticeable in the mobile environment. In the 12" shootout, most agreed they were fairly close.

True -- what I can hear of it sounds musical, but I really can't hear much at all. Keep in mind that I am speaking of a 10" v2 in an SUV though.

What were the indicators? Pain, if so...about where?

Pain above the belly button. Pain that hurt so bad it made me go to the hospital and beg for pain killers. It was also relentless and would not ease up. Sometimes it could be felt in the back. Sometimes I vomited, but mostly not. The final time I had developed jaundice because a gallstone blocked my bile duct.

I spent about 6 times the effort on my front stage vs. my subs.
But I have super serious driver's bias. The passenger side sounds like crap....the driver's side really really nice.

BTW, The only reason I chose the mag over Q was because when i got it Fi was so infant and the slight edge was given to Mag. If it was the same market now, I would have probably taken a gamble on the Q. I am now a faithful SI minion though and will be going to the new Mag. I tend to get brand loyal. That's the reason I still sport RF amps. Old habits are hard to break.

I would say so. Shit nearly any sealed sub should blend well with that. In fact if you don't listen to rap anymore, ditch the sub and let them puppies go down.

Oh, her pain is under her left breast area kinda. The pain is sporadic....but makes her want to cry kinda. I am wagering it is her appendix, but maybe that is lower.

it's rare for someone in their 20's to have gallstones. Apparently I got them for losing a lot of weight. It could be indigestion.
