It is one of 32 stupid speakers that I tediously applied 6 layers of lacquer to.Looks like one of those things that heats chocolate and makes a waterfall for strawberry dipping.
But it is a stupid speaker. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
No. I promised to have these finished by SB. The box is functional as long as I don't try to crank it too hard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifWhy? Shouldn't you be more focused on fixing the box in your attic?
Yes it does. It adds mass to the cone and takes the harshness out of the top end. These cheapo thin paper drivers can be shrill at high frequencies. You're going to have to turn down the HD when they tackle each other.
Does the lacquer actually do anything to them?
It has no negative impact on life span. If anything it helps protect and slow down the paper from breaking down over time.Does it affect the life span of the speakers?
I was thinking that you were just making them purty, and had to make sure.
