Anywho. I took 2 ozs and shook it over a heaping of ice for 30 shakes. Poured in a frozen martini glass.

It is good Vodka. I can definitely agree with you on this one(I still maintain that Ciroc is NOT a vodka though). As far as Grain Vodkas go it is up there and I could see this in my rotation. I'd put it above the Stoli Elit which is a very fine Grain Vodka. I still wouldn't put it as my favorite though. I still put Chopin there. Potatoe Vodka still has a certain smoothness in its texture to me. Above all though I like having variety of good ones and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to put this in my staple of Vodkas. It's just unfortunate I don't see it often around here. None of my regular Liquor stores carry it. This was one around my work. They only had 2 bottles.

I really like how Vodka is essentially void of flavor(or suppose to be in any event. Only the alcohol sensation(read burn) and dryness are present. If chilled well enough the burn is subdued to make it very easy to drink straight or with a twist of lemon/ or splash of Olive brine. If I am drinking a booze for flavor then I grab Scotch. I am partial to Glenmorangie. If I feel like mixes it is usually rum.

When i was young, it was whatever someone put on the counter at the party.

I was kidding. titos is pretty much all I drink now, unless i am/was in the city, where there was only smirnoff, absolut and stoli. Or was. I havent had ciroc all this year I think. maybe at the beginning of the year. Titos is my number one choice though, doesnt cost much more than anything else so, and is usually the same price, if not less, so no reason to go with anything else. Down here(st pete) most of the liquor stores have it. Like ABC, Albertsons etc...

I remember I had a frink with gin, a raw egg, and something else once. It was crazy. That year, I was on a gin kick. This year, it's kind of a toss up between whisky, tequila, and rum.

gin and tequila yuck. whiskey and rum i have to drink mixed and only drink them when im out somewhere, (club/bar).....because they are the cheapest.

Yes it is relatively cheap. This is my reason for liking Lusksusowa. It is a potatoe but priced in the Smirnoff category. We have no ABC by us and I never go as far down the road to check out Albertson. I will have to from now on. I hate when only the regulars are available. At this point Stoli Elit is a good choice but it is $60 for 750ML //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif and regular Stoli might as well be Smirnoff.

I would invite you over to finish it, but my wife just got out of surgery on Thursday and still doesn't feel too well. If/when you do get the chance to chill I will make sure it is on hand. I keep the bar pretty well stocked even with my insatiable appetite for Vodka.

I use the traditional celery stick. Sometimes an olive, sometimes a lemon, sometimes nothing. Depends on what I have available.

See I like a large assortment of garnish in my marys, because I usually have them the morning after. It acts as a hangover relief and breakfast for me. My favorite garnish it 2 shrimps on rim, green pepper, pearl onion and the celery stalk.

That drink sounds nasty.
I never cared for Gin. It is a improperly stilled Vodka to me. It was good for the prohibition days where time was of the essence and distilling more than once was uncalled for. Nowaday it is just trash IMO. I do enjoy a good tequila here and there when the mod strikes. It has to be an anejo though.

I drank an absolute/disirono (sp?) mixer earlier today. It was fair.

you mixed absolute vodka and disaronno together? Holy cow, I love disaronno but I absolutely hate vodka. Disaronno on the rocks is so good.
