Yeah, I don't think that he ever responded to my post questioning whether manufacturers really do not want their product sold via unauthorized dealers on the internet. Like I said, there certainly is a steady supply of inventory for them to sell. I don't think that can be explained away by saying it is all stolen.And I think he is in denial about the transhipping problem. If Pioneer can look the other way and move 1,000 more units, I don't see why they don't....they even get away with not having to warranty the products. I also don't see why a Pioneer would rather a local shop sell it's product vs. a guy on the internet.
Which partly explains why you rarely see Hertz on e-bay and you can buy nearly any Alpine/Kicker etc product 365 days a year.A manufacturer isn't going to admit it. Some manufacturer's are really specific about it, like Hertz. Some don't give a shit.
