Possible scammer?
I have my BXi2006D up for sale here and on Craigslist.
My friend (Woodels420) has his KX1200.1 up for sale here and on Craigslist.
A guy from Craigslist has been contacting us both about our amps, wanting to trade 2 Kicker DX700s, an Infinity 1211A, and a Kenwood 401m.
Today, he sent me an email asking about trading me for an MA Audio HC2502.
Coicidentally, a member on here "Surgeon", who lives in Warren, about 15 miles south of me, happens to have owned all of these amps, and currently has a MA Audio HC2502 for sale in the classifieds.
Looking at his previous posts, he claims the Kickers, Kenwood, and Infinity are all blown.
He told me through email the Infinity (only one I asked about) worked fine and was never blown nor repaired.
If this is the same person, this would make him a dishonest and potential scammer trying to trade off broken amps.
It could be a coincidence, but I find the idea of a person
1) From our area
2) Interested in a Hifonics or Kicker amp (he's posted about it)
3) Owns the previously mentioned 4 amps
Is a HUGE coincidence. I just don't want anyone getting screwed with an amp that doesn't function. Would I be out of line to post about this?
