Crunk Flammable Jello Times

Well, I'm going to make my own binding posts for the time being...

Cost me a grand total of $6 w/tax for more than what I needed...

Then I went to RadioCrap... and the silver solder was $5 dollar for 1.5oz. They had 8oz for $8 @HomeDepot but it was too large... (guage wise)...

GAH...

On the bright side, guy gave me a scrap piece of peg board for my xovers for free. Instead of having to spend $7 on an entire sheet... (when I'd only use not even a tenth of it...) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif

I saw that coming.
Yea... Me too...

The only solder I have seen at HD is the kind that you melt on pipes. Which you don't want to use on circuit boards.

Free!!! Can't beat free...

What's the difference?

I would think a 95/5 plumbing solder = 95/5 electronics solder

don't get resin core and you're good.

copper = copper

solder (same mix) = solder

Or are we getting into a "hifi" debate? You know, the kind where a set of speaker wires COULD be worth $33,000.

Brandenburg's dad?
No. Though I think I was at the same one though...

They had electronics solder in a different section, lead free silver based... but it was like... 16guage... bigger stuff...

sooo, the cops just left my house again, it was much more useful this time around //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

they didnt do anything for the time being, but they did have a good chat with my room mate //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . they basically asked him why he was still here, why he wasnt getting out, and asked how soon he could be out. they told him that if they had to come back tonight, or ever, it was not going to be a nice casual conversation like this one. he said he would be out in three days, they suggested moving out sooner, before i took legal action and took him to small claims court. they asked if he had paid the monthly rent, which he lied and said he had paid half of it. they asked why he hadnt paid the rest, and he said he was going to use it to pay for his new place. they informed him that just because i had asked him to leave, it did not free him from his obligation to pay me the rent since he was choosing to stay. he said he couldnt afford to pay me and rent at a new place, and they informed them that if he didnt pay me that i would be entitled to recieve his paycheck from his employer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

all in all, it was a big help and hopefully he will be gone by the end of the weekend (according to his statement to the police officers).

oh yeah, they were also going straight from my house to his place of employment to inform his management staff that they need to drug test him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

So.... dis guy... HOw did you know this guy before he moved in? Former friend? He was on the other side of the gloryhole at the peepshow?
nope, put out an ad for a room mate and interviewed him. so unfortunatly it was my mistake, but im getting the last laugh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

:keeping fingers crossed that the sherrif serves him his papers today:

Well at least no friendship was lost over it. This is one of the reasons I plan on buying my own house when I move out, lack of drama FTW.
unfortunatly, this IS my own house... i own the two bedroom condo that he is currently inhabiting...

but on the plus side, the sherrifs deputy just served him his papers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif . left them in the door, julie has them and i am going to go home early to present them to him. he probably isnt going to be happy... this just went from costing him about $500, to $1025, plus court cost, the magistrates time (@$35/hour), interest, damages owed since i have not been able to list my house for sale on the market, plus rent up until the 30 day eviction note expires, at which point he must legally be out of the house or surrender his belongings to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

im going to offer him a deal to settle outside of court this evening. going to tell him that if he is out of the house by sunday at 5pm, and pays me $800 (cash or money order only...)i will drop the suit entirely. that would be in his best interest, it would save him about $500-700.
