HDMI?

It has HDMI output, the set-top box... but I'm not using it.

ATM I'm using component directly into the TV, and optical from the set-top to the receiver...

I went from components to HDMI with both set to 1080i, HDMI was a lot better! VERY noticable, and the sound was MUCH better.
