i might be interested if you still have it when i get to that point. but the sub set up is going ot be the last part of the new stereo that i commit to.

starting with the head, then going to do the comps running off the head, then amps, then subs.

im thinking about putting the XXX's in the rear speaker locations running on a make shift in line passive do-hickey, and then add a two way to the front running active.

i havent laid out a budget as of yet...

inly thing i am certian of is all the alpine gear. everything else is up to change, including using the XXX mids. if i can find a good three way component set i will go with that and sell the XXX's.

beat im not saying no to the sealed until i try them in a flatter alignment then the .5ft each

im also going to try one ported tuned low prob .75ft tuned to 29...since i have booty load of extra wood in the barn

I wouldnt mind some 8"s in the door, but I dont want to go hacking into the car...

dont really want kicks either. mid basses in the rear speaker locations, mid ranges in the doors, tweets in the sails (or other apprpriate location)

well in that case even though sub stage is your last worry we could prob stuff a sealed 8 into your factory location

and beat ive determined my only beef with the rli8s i their current enclosures is their drop off in output between roughly 60-80hz...i shall see if can eq them to where i want otherwise its back to building
