hoss, if you've got the one that has two spring-loaded catch things that attach the HU's chassis to the cage somehow.

I do not know how to explain what I'm talking about, exactly, since I do not know exactly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

nG tells me the cage I need is the old-style Alpine cage (remembering the unit in question is a CDA-7930) which isn't the same as the more current version.

Apparently there are some kind of spring-loaded deals that attach to both the front of the cage and the front of the HU's chassis.

I wish I actually had a clue wtf I was talking about but I am sorely at a loss when it comes to Alpine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

its 800 rms at 2 ohms.. lets call it 700 ish.. and its "1700" at 2 ohms.. lets call it 1500.. sub doesnt get overpowered, i didnt spent more than 110 shipped on it.. no clipping and it sounds good. I can't complain.
