Both subs tested @ 1ohm. I hear no mechanical noise or anything. Both subs seam great. The one had a smear on the dust cap with the tinsel lead unsoldered. The other i cant see anything - maybe extra glue on the surround because the scew holes are covered or maybe the frayed stitching. Both are amazing. Hell of a deal for 218$ shipped for 220$ea subs!

I found out what was wrong with the other sub. I didn't hear on when testing or this morning. I opened my truck with music playing and it sounded like rocks in the dust cap. I knew it was something under that dust cap. So i took off. Well there was something (not rocks lol). Its dried glue it came off the top of the Coil. I thought i was taking a picture, but it was a video. Here it is...

Getting a little closer to my goal to compete at my first competition. There's a lot of rules and so many classes. How does on know what frequencies to play or music without having a meter?

Just ordered another S1-1250.

2nd amp came today. I tried hooking them up strapped but it was doing something weird. I set the gain using a dmm on the master amp. I would turn the volume up on the hu and when I would use the bass knob the bass was stuttering/cutting out every other second. Anyone ever heard of this?

are you strapping the amps or gain matching?

Strapped them last night. Have to get a splitter to match

Thanks to @shredder2 i found out i made a big mistake. This is what happens when you dont take your time or fully understand something. I have read and watched videos on strapping amps. I had my subs wired to 1ohm ea and i figured that both amps are 1ohm stable i would be good. Well thats not the case. Shredder said each amp was seeing .25ohm. Luckily there is only about 5-7min of play time. When i get off work going to rewire the subs and hopefully no damage was done to them. Live and learn and double and triple check....

Yea i knew something wasnt right as soon as i would touch the bass knob so i didnt push the subs at all. They was barely warm so i think i should be good

Fixed my wiring on my Subs lol. Everything is good to go now. Still not sure if im going to leave strapped or gained matched. Going to Droppin Hz Next week to get my gains set, so ill be good for Sundown Audio 2019. I really didnt want to rebuild my amp rack right now so i modified it to fit both Soundqubed S1-1250's. Still need to mount my 4-channel amp. I picked up a 4-way Fused Block today - 1/0 in and 4-4ga out. Do you think i will be fine running all 3 amps on that? or to much current drawy for 1/0?

Put a fuse block in today and cleaned everything up. Mirror feel off today. Dont know if I can go without a rearview mirror

Anyone on here going to Sundown Audio 2019 on the 17th?

Slowing getting my car together. Getting everything fused and secured down and more sound deadener. Painted the chipped trim on the side this weekend.

I'll be lowering the front end this weekend. Since I have all the weight in the rear i dont need to touch it.
