Creating a system

I was wondering what would be the best way to enhance my stereo system for around $1400. I like my music loud but not too much bass. Mostly into rock and metal. But like some good bass with some stuff such as Limp Bizkit. I have a 92 camaro rs, and will be upgrading soon. Any help would be great. Thanks

What do you have so far? Will you be installing this on your own? How much room in the hatch are you willing to give up? Would you be satisfied with decent cheap equipment or do you want all high end stuff? There are prefabbed sub boxes made by Q-Form (and MTX I believe) that will fit perfectly in your hatch area. They are a little spendy but an easy solution. If you can answer my previous questions I'll check back and help you out. As for music taste (- the Limp Bizkit) and sound quality design, I'm in the same boat as you are.

As of right now I haven't gotten anything yet. I don't want to go the cheapest way but not going for top dollar either. I am willing to give up my whole hatchback if needed. Saw a cool way to mount amps to my back seat the other day and it put in bug in my head. I am kinda partial to the flip down face cd head units. They look pretty decent. Have looked at a few but haven't decided what yet. Looking at spending about $4000 on modifications to my camaro. Maybe about $1000-1300 for stereo, at the most. For now that is. The rest is going to paint and engine mods.

Thanks
