Crackling speakers...?

Hey

So today i bought 2 pairs of speakers (apine type-s 5x7 and 6 1/2'), went to install em, soddered the wires together, but now i get a crackling sound at medium to high volume. Any ideas what would cause this? Any help is apprectiated, thxs.

To me it sounds like a true connection is the problem. It sounds like the wires aren't connected to the terminals properly. I am not sure which wires you used, but check the connections at the speakers and at the head unit.
