I think a few pairs of your mid line coax's to up the amount of prizes, But maybe a pair or 2 of decent comps and maybe a grand prize of a nice comp set and amp combo. I like the idea of a raffle cause it will most likely cover the shipping for you to send out to the winners, but giving your grand prize to _xXTrollofthedayXx_ who signed up 4 hours ago wont benefit your business anyway shape or form. If you do a giveaway post count/ and or time should matter to a point unless you seen someone prove worthiness otherwise but thats just my .02

Seriously, though, I admire the thought of a buy-in, but that's kinda why I was wondering if PHD themselves could endorse the giveaway for the sake of publicity and pick up the tab. They're still not very well known stateside outside of the competition circuit and, even then, pretty few and far between. Just a thought...

i was literally going to say the same thing. anyone can get to 300 or so. but once you get to 500 i would think you would have been on this forum for quite some time now.

well heres the problem, the people who have the knowledge and experience to give a proper review(not me) dont "need" the free set, and the people who "need" them, dont have the experience to accurately review them. I say give a set to keep_hope_alive or one of our other various knowledgeable and experienced members and then another set to a random Active and Participating forum member

I actually had basically the exact same thing typed about being able to get up to a few hundred posts but my phone was retarded and decided to refresh and it was gone and didn't feel like retyping it. Lol its stupid when someone wins with like 3 posts. And all 3 of those were in THAT thread.

I think that's a pretty good idea. I might not know how to give a great review but I can be a damn good nuthugger!

Because there's a buy-in involved. Kinda like a bet if you will. A lot of companies can't do this because it puts pressure on the winner to favorably review the product they win. In the case of a giveaway, even if the product was absolute garbage (not saying PHD is, I know better than that), the reviewer is at his own liberty to speak honestly.
