confused on getting right ohm

Amp is bx1500d and subs are comp vr15's pair. Comps are dual 4ohm and rated at 500rms per sub. The amp has + + - - so do i take sub 1 and wire it both + together then into 1 + on amp and same for the - then take other sub and do the same only go into the other + and -. Or take the 2 + off 1 sub and the other 2 from the other join them and take them into 1 + on the amp and then the same for neg? So in the end i would have 1 +/- not being used on the amp.

Someone told me to wire the subs to the diagram that makes 2 4ohm DVC into 1 ohm load. Ok that is no problem but then into the amp im gonna use the first + and first - right? If so is that giving the pair of subs the max rms of the amp which is 1500 or is it only half that since im wired only into 1 set of the speaker inputs?

You are going to want to wire each of the voice coils in parallel then each of the woofers in parrel with eachother. Basicly you want to put the positive to all the + symbols on all the woofers, and you want the negative to go to the - symbol on all the woofers. This is the best way to run it but the woofer will be a little high so be easy on the gains.

That amp has two terminals to make it easy to wire two subs in parallel which is what you are trying to do. The terminals are wired in parallel inside the amp so whatever you wire to teach terminal will effectively be wired in parallel. Wire the coils of each sub in parallel and then wire each sub to its own terminal. Done.
