A couple weeks back I let a computer guru(yea f'n right)look at my pc now it takes minutes to load pages and videos are out of the question there slow and choppy even though the sound plays along normally? What the hell is wrong with this thing someone any advice is more then welcomed!

how much memory you got left in your hdd?

what year did u purchase said comp?

have you updated any plug-ins needed to stream audio/video ?

Right click your task bar and goto open task manager. When you are trying to watch videos and such what is your CPU usage and how much of your RAM (memory) is being used? Do you know if he installed any programs?

He had tried to install a dvd progam for the dvd drive he installed but it would not work so I unhooked it for now since it does nothing, also the computer worked great before he screwed with it and all my drivers and programs say there up to date

I have wondered about that! I also ran malware bite program to remove any harmful software but it only helped a little

you need more than a pop up blocker to find out if youve been hacked

Best Option: Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be certain. (A:\>fdisk C)

Save essential files.

Or you can edit start up items and run MRI software.

did you run it in safe-mode? If you know the name of the DVD Program, boot into safe-mode(F8) doing post and go into control panel or Programs and remove it.
