I'm getting ready to hook up some components 5.25" and 6.26" both with tweets. I've got a 4-cannel amp and multi x-over. I'm looking for the best SQ i can get. Should I hook up the amp to the components as they come with the inline x-over or hook up the mids and tweets to seperate channels and rely on my x-over to do get the job done?

If they can handle the power yes I would do that and just get another amp for the other pair..Or buy say a 6 channel amp run the forst four to the front and the other two to the rear for imaging purposes the rear should be attenuated anyway. There shouldn't a problem with just using a four channel with the passive X/Os though. Just depends on how much control you want over your system and how much you are willing to spend.
