Clarion won't play CDs

I got a Clarion CD player from my bro. It tends to play CDs, but every now and then it won't. I dunno, it's in my mom's car. She said she stuck a CD in and out 150 times and it worked after she restarted her car. I wanna get it fixed, cuz you can probably guess how much it sucks if she had to push it in and pull it out 150 times.

I don't know the model #, but I can find out. My brother had the same thing happen to his Blaupunkt San Jose. Cost him $50 labor to get it fixed. I dunno how common this is, but he drives a lowered Cavalier with bad front shocks, and so far it has happened twice.

maybe the lens has to be cleaned... you can get special cleaning CD for that, they are cheap so it might be a good start to try...
