i need 2 speakers tofinish off my system and don't know what size?? first off why is there 6.25, and 6.5" speakers?? is this for replacing stock applications?? Also i have 2 3" w 2 remote tweeter and 2 4x6's in the back of an ext cab truck, would i be better off with 6.5" or 6x9"?? what are the benefits of both?? also what exactly does component mean?? and what is better 2,3,or 4 axial speakers??

i've never heard of a 6.25" speaker, are you thinking of 5.25"?

there are different sizes to fit stock locations and because some applications are very space limited

bigger speakers are usually better because they handle more power and can play lower frequencies

components are a type of speaker which has the mid range and tweeter separate and with an external cross-over, more power handling, better sound, much better cross-over networks

coaxial speakers have 2 drivers, triaxial speakers have 3 drivers, quadaxial speakers have 4 drivers, and so on...
