lookin at both of these component sets....has anyone ran both of them....how do they compare which do you recommend

I've ran both. And currently run the CDT's.

I'd go with the Bostons. That's just my opinion of course.

Just an all around better sounding component set, in my opinion.

If at all possible, try and listen to at least one set before deciding.

I have CDT CL-61's, I have yet to hear any other comp set. I personally believe the CDT's are a great buy, if you don't plan on giving them anything below 150hz. They distort really, really fast when you start throwing lows at them. Make sure you do a good install.

What I would say would coincide with tobz...

I have to cross them over at like 120 something...and not to mention the tweeters cut out.

Only throwing 65 watts at em.
