Dude this is car AUDIO not car AUTO.com. Your lucky I know about cars. Get a new exhaust b/c it will give you a great sounding car. Go with Twisters.

some magna flow or borla mufflers with an x pipe. maybe a programmable chip.

dual exhaust for sure, a cam, if its new enough to have a computer thatd be a good upgrade.dont know what engine u have either. 4 barrel carb or intake might be good too

a cam is probably going to be too expansive, and chances are that his camaro is fuel injected, i may be wrong, but anyway if it is he has no used for a four barrel.

Thank God this is not a stupid ricer post. Get headers, electric cutout and exhaust. Then go with ram air and chip.

go steal one off an airplane, and y get dual 4's when u could get 4 coffee cans for cheaper and they have a diameter off like um 10 inches and will be louder than nascar cars.

get a good flowmaster exhaust kit with a set of headers. then put a good cold air intake on it (easy 20 hps alone). the next step would be a good performance chip. that should easily be under $750, then use the rest to get rims n tires.

wow, theres alot of "fast and the furious" children in here, quote "get a BIG wing" and bla bla bla, get something real, not poserish, a cam shouldnt be too much, i personally run a flowmaster 40 series exhaust with gibson headers.

good power, amazing sound.

theres endless things you can do for power

*note* dont get a **** wing and ruin your camaro, wings look good on civics and all but a camaro is a beautiful carw/o the add on crap

agreed no wing... as far as performance mods i would definately start with a full exhaust system(make it sound hella better). then of course the obvious an air filter. If your car is an auto i would suggest getting a B&M shift kit, help it rip through those gears a little bit faster. custom chip would definately be a good thing, change your shift points and get the most out of your efi. Perhaps changing out your gears for some 3:73's, improved 0-60 time. A new cam would be good and not too expensive (a few hundred) wait till you have some other mods though...a new cam generally makes your car idle a little rougher depending on the lift and duration. Point is you dont want to pull up to a stop light with your gurgling engine because of your cam and then when you go to race you lose to grandmas V8 cadillac. Just my opinion though.

if you are going to rip the rear end apart and change gear ratios to try to improve your 0-60, go with a 4.10 ratio. you can pick up everything you need directly from your local chevy dealer parts department.
