I went to a bookstore today and checked out the caraudio magazine... the entire magazine was information tables and a few ads... i was like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

are the caraudio magazines always like this? or do they ever have anything decent in them?

gthey have decent stuff, like 1/3 of the stuff is usu advertisement, but some of the other stuff is good.

They really only cover the mainstream audio. There are a good mag, i have sucribed and like it but like I said. There has been no mention of any of the online subs. Almost all you will see in there is mainstream.

If you are interested in subscribing to the magazine check eBay for some great deals. I just got 3 years of it for only $15, which is otherwise the price for only 1 year.

Yeah your right I remember one on an ED. I didn't know what ED was at the time, thats why i forgot about it. MOST of it stuff is mainstream though, Most

The one with all the tables was most likely a consumer buyer guide. I usually buy car audio mags alot, when i can get to the store, i should get a subscription but oh well

I think what you have is the annual buyer's guide. It lists a ton of products and gives some basic specs supplied by the manufacturers. It is the only issue like that each year. Most of the issues are half the thickness have a much higher percentage of ads and have more actual articles.

This months mag is the buyer's guide of the year. They usually have some cool stuff that they are testing or doing an article about, mostly random. This years buyer's guide had RE's whole lineup in it and the prices in the mag. I was shocked to see RE product line in that mag. I am planning on scaning in the page that has the RE info on it and post it. One thing is that I did not see some of the other brands that are talked about alot here like ED, SI, and IA.

Re was in last years buyers guide as well.. and if im not mistaken, i think they were also in it the previous year....
