You know that feeling when you know you will be attending a great car show the next day? Well I got that right now. Show starts in 7 hours and I can't even sleep. I will make sure to take pictures for all of you. It is nothing huge, just a fun little show around where I live.

Gonna bring anything special in your ride?

Nope...Still working on it. I still need the box from tirefyre. Then I will pick up an amp or two, some sound deadener, and probably a H/O alt. Then I will be all set to go.

Next year I will have the best system there!

Just got back from the show. It was pretty good. I took about 90 pictures and I will post them soon.

Best subs I would say went to the 2 12W7's in the porsche cayenne. Not sure if I spelled that right. 4 Type r's sounded pretty decent too.

Best car I would say went to the dodge viper or Lotus Elise. Both very nice, but the viper was just mean.

Worst sound system went to the guy with the CVR's with the audiobahn grills. I almost died laughing.

I have some good stories to tell which I will do throughout the thread.

I just got to send them to my webmaster to host them all first.

But let me tell you one story. I was talking to the porsche guy about his 2 12W7's. I asked first are they 12's or 13's. It is hard to tell when all you can see is the cone. He goes ohh they are 12's, the 13's just sounded too sloppy to me. Whatever you say man.

Anyways, I ask him about the JL Boxes he had in there. And I quote, "Yeah, you have to buy special JL W7 boxes. If you build normal ones made of wood then the W7's will blow them up because they are way too powerful." Now I knew he had no clue what the hell he was talking about.

It just goes to show that even if someone has a devent system, it doesn't mean they know anything at all about car audio.

Also, I asked it what amps he was running and he couldn't tell me. I found out he didn't install it, didn't know anything about boxes, didn't even know what amps he was running, and was standing there giving everyone advice on how to build a nice system. Not to mention he said he worked in a shop.

Actually that is the Showrides Demo car. See I was going to use the mags but because of the larger Xmax it kept hitting the audiobahn grill. So I just switched over to the CVR's.

Anyways, here are some nice pictures.

4 type R's. Sounded pretty clean. Could have done a better job with the install. There was some rattling in the back.

Here is the W7 guys car. He hooked his dvd player up to the Tv screen in the middle of his instrument cluster. Looked cool, but not sure how practical it is.

How can you not love this car?

And here are the W7's. In the only box in the world strong enough to hold them.

I want a 5.0 to be my next project. It just looks so clean.

It may have a Toyota Engine. But it still moves.

And last but not least, it may not sound the best, but I sure as hell would take it.
