so this is off topic I know but im drivin to work yesterday and passed a 1997 Saturn SC2 Sports coupe for sale. It's a lady's that I sorta knew I use to be her
paperboy I know the car runs good. I dorve it and the clutch is so smooth and the shifting is tight she said she'd sell it to me for 800 bucks. What im wondering is she told me it burns a little oil. She puts probably a quart in every 2-3 months but she is a traveling sales woman and probably puts 1-2000 highway miles a month. Is the oil burning just a minor problem? Or is this something saturns do before the engine goes or something? I hada a car that burned off 3 quarts of oil anytime I went one the highway for more than an hour but it ran great and is still running today. So basically what im askin is if it were you would you buy this car with the oil burning like that? I dont mean would you buy a saturn i mean would you buy a car that burns a little oil?
