i am looking into buying either 2 DD 12" 2512's or 1 RE Sx 12". each will get 1000w rms each. i want the choice that will be the loudest, and if the dd's dont sound clean i could always seal them i guess. i would like to originally have either one of those setups ported. i cant decide what to do. please help.

ah shit. nevermind. i cant wire the 2 dd's into 2 ohms. okay then its either down to the sx 12". now im down to the sx or the DD 3512. thanks.

How much are you willing to spend????? The DD will mostlikly sound like a fart ripping lose (not always but that is what I hear about them) Another idea would be Incriminator Audio Death Peniltys. I think Josh said the 12's are $325 and 15's are $350. Just another idea...

well 340 is as much as i will go, and that the price of the 12" dd. if the death penaltys work with only 1000w and can be wired to 2 ohms, i will definatley look into them.

They will work with as little as 800w but they are dual 2 ohm so I guess they are out of the question.

Give the SX a shot... But if you want that much output go w/ the L7, it's dirt cheap on ebay, and will embarass an SX (i had HC, basically the same thing).

what is so much different if you don't mind elaborating, i'd like to know. My HC was a little bit different than the stock out of the box ones.. NDMstang65 had RE build it the way he wanted it. A lot more motor strength, lower Q...

SE is louder than the HC, the SeXXX killed the HC, the SX has no problem getting louder than any of them...SX has also tested to be ~1 dB louder than the XXX...

i've tried to get info on the 2500 series, but it doesn't seem like many people have used them.. If it is like any other DD sub i'm pretty confident in saying that it will get stupid loud.

not the 2500 anymore because i cant run 2 at 2 ohms, but the 3500 series. they look like they can get loud by the specs, but i wanted to see if anyone has firsthand experience.
