bx1500d shutting down

Well iv had it running for few days and i decided to mess with the controls on the amp and when it hits some hard bass it shuts down and seems to do it just about everywhere i set the controls to. Its pushing 2 comp vr 15's and using 4g +/-. The subs are 4ohm dvc wired parallel then each sub into its own terminal on the amp.

i had mine running at 1 ohm and it shut off on me as well... wire it to 4 ohms and then adjust ur settings there and hopefully be happy with it... if it keeps shutting off... it will shut off for good... that's what happened with me :-( had 2 get another one...

i noticed today that it ran fine while driving down the road but when i came to stop and van went to idle it shutdown. The alt is a 105a and im sure not spending the cash on a HO alt. It looks to me that the amp is not getting enough power and shutting itself off this ture? If so what options do i have besides a freakin expensive alt?

so what is this about the 80 amp fuse??? can anyone provide information on this?
i'm currently awaiting shipment of a bx1500 get it on monday...
ok, from what i've heard, the BX1500Ds were supposed to have 2 80 amp fuses instead of the 2 60s, well anyway the people over at Hifonics were testing the amp and only after a long time of really high power playing did they finally blow, i'd think it wouldn't be possible with music but with a sine wave it is possible but very non-likely, i wouldn't worry about it

ok now mine is going into protect... i wired it back to 1 ohm the other day 2 see how it sounded again... then wired it back to 4... today on my way 2 work after about 25 minutes of drivin it shut off... i figured maybe because it was so hot outside... because when i got in my car later it was in protection... came on for a few seconds then the red light came on... so then i turned my cd player off... tonite on my way home turned the cd player on... played fine for about 5 seconds and then cut off... i'm gonna go buy 2 80 amp fuses 2morrow... come home and check my wiring for my subs... bah this sux...

yeah i know that but i figured i might as well put the correct ones in there... and wire it at 1 ohm instead of 4 and see if it would work then... but it didn't oh well... wired it at 1 ... went into protect when it came on... turned car off.... unplugged rca's left speakers connected... turned it on... went into protect.... plugged in rca's... unplugged speakers... went into protect... then i tried unplugging everything and it lit up green... tried speakers went into protect again... and then i unplugged everything and tried again and it lit up red... i need 2 find a cool garage to park my car in with some fans 2 keep everything cool inside then test it... it's wayyyy 2 hot here right now
