Another gun I would look at is the Sig Sauer P250. I'm not totally positive if they are available yet but they look like they would be worth the wait if there is any!!

For the money the Springfield XD is best gun hands down. Sig and HK are second to none but you wont find it for 500 with an extra clip, holster and carry case. Taurus is pretty good gun, but not in this leauge

what about the DE 50.cal ae thats what i carry and when i took it to the gun range and fire the first shot everyone stop shooting theres to see what it was.Because it over powered everyone gun and the police was like god ****.

Can't go wrong with the XD...awesome pistola.

For CCW, there is a new Taurus coming out very soon if not now..practically palm sized, looks pretty sweet.

Don't like the Glocks just because of the point-of-aim it gives me, Sig fits like a glove.

You have to fondle all of them and make sure the one you choose gives you a natural point-of-aim..some will point up, which is why (only reason) I didn't go with a Glock.

For carry you couldnt go wrong with the springfield as long as you like the way it fits. That is pretty much the deciding factor.

I would not trust a taurus for carry but that is personal opinion.

I agree with everything except the last statement. I never had a single problem with my PT92, and I had it for about 4 years.
