XD--- Very nice overall gun, once $$ allows the .45 compact will be my CCW so I'm kinda partial.

Taurus -- Nice looking gun, good mag capacity not bad of a choice

USP -- Nice looking as well, good mag cap,

lot of people liking the Springfield. I have a glock subcom but i want something else. Most handguns i shoot kinda pale in comparison to my Kimbers tho

HK, I own the USP40, glock21, Wlison Comp45, WaltherP99... Out of all I like the wilson the best but the HK takes second.... They are totally different though.. If youre use to glocks youl love the HK..

I like the Taurus personally. GREAT warranty, and if you ever have a problem customer service is awesome. Never had one go down or jam either.

Of course I like S&W and Glock as well.

Ive owned a SA XD-40, Sig P226, and now own a HK P2000 .40.

The XD are great pistols for the money, but wasnt a big fan of the grip/trigger safety.

The SIG was the only .45 i have owned and it was great. Never jammed, zero problems.

I just bought the HK. I was looking at USPs myself, but went with the P2000 v2 LEM mainly because i am a lefty and wanted to try something different. I love this pistol.

I would be torn to tell you to get either a sig or HK. They are both excellent.

Have you looked at the p2000sk (compact) and the p30 HK's
