Bridging Questions!

?????
I'm thinking about getting a Pioneer TS-W305C Subwoofer and powering it with a Pioneer GM-5000T Amplifier. It's a two-channel amp, but it says it can be bridged to 380x1 RMS @ 4 Ohms. My question is, if I bridged it would it be the same as if I had a 380w mono amp? Also, how exactly do you bridge an amp?

the only difference from a mono amp is that you wont be able to run it at 2 or 1 ohm in bridged mode.

the way you bridge them is different. some have a switch, some dont. some you use the positive from one channel and the negative from the other. read the manual to check how to do it on that amp.
