Brahma power/box?

I'm looking at getting 2 12" Brahmas and putting them in 2 1^3ft sealed boxes and powering them with an orion 1200D. My question is this: I've read the adire site and I know the 1600 RMS is a thermal rating and thus the actual power to give the sub is less than that but the site doesn't specify how much less. So running at 1ohm giving each sub roughly 750 will that be enough for them to preform up to "par" in a 1 cubic foot enclosure? I know with more power the less air space that is needed in a sealed environment. Thanks for the insight.

That setup should be very loud. I think you will be happy.

But what kind of output are you looking for? I think 1 B12 in a 1 cubic foot enclosure off that amp will be crazy loud. We did that setup in a Blazer, and he metered at 142 dB. It would save you some money, and room in the vehicle.

I have a friend who does glassing that is going to help me make custom enclosures on the corners of my trunk (2000 GT Eclipse). Thats why I was thinking 2 subs because I think just a sub in a corner would look a little odd. You say one d12 would be crazy but how would 2? Still as loud or not as much because the power is getting divided between the two?
