Is it true that the bass depends more on the box than on the speaker?
I am trying to make a box for my 2 10" MTX blue Thundrs and was wondering if there will be a DRASTIC difference in shape and size of the box and it's effect on the sound. I know that deeper is bassier, but if it's too deep, won't it just get sloppy? If anyone knows the correct config of a box for these 2 10" speakers, please speak up.
P.S. I have a big, thick piece of plexiglass pulled from the old box I'd like to use if it makes a diff.... well... does it?
