ok

i have always faced my subs facing out towards the rear bumper

and was on sounddomain.com lookin at some rides and i noticed alot of people have there subs facinf the front of the car with seat down what is the differance is there 1? do u get better spl that way?

I believe that facing them forward allows the bass to be a bit louder and you can feel more of it.. Facing them to the rear is more what you would call corner loading and usually increases low end extension like a ported box would do without having to port... Zane will be able to elaborate more on this though since he has a better technical background than I do.
