Running a Pioneer GM-D8601 Mono Amp running 500 rms at 2 ohm. Recently bought the Cerwin Vega XE12DV mobile system which runs at 450rms at 2 ohm. It's a budget setup but I figured since they were Vega they would run alright. I wasn't trying to go big, just wanted some decent lows for whatever music. 20 min into using them one of the subs seized. Didn't have the gain up or any boost. Is it due to the budget subs or running them 50 over rms fry it?
