Blowing up a boat

my dad friend just asked me 2 blow up his sailboat thats half sunk by his dock. Its only like 4 feet deep so most of its showing. I need a way to produce a big explosion without polluting the water. The boats like 20 feet long. Also it cant be 2 illegal or expensive. Fire away

Any explosion is going to pollute the water. Is anyone going to remove it afterwards or just let it sit there? Why doesn't he salvage some of the parts off of it first?

gonna have to agree, you're not gonna vaporize the thing without a GIGANTIC explosion thats going to destroy the dock, and probably leave a crater under the water, all sorts of silt, dirt, pieces of fiberglass or wood or whatever the boats made of all up int he water.

playing with amonium nitrate is fun though.

get a hundred or so pounds of pure sodium....fill a cabin up with it, and run a hose into the cabin......aim the hose at the sodium and full it up wt water.....the instant it touches water.....BOOM....if u can somehow get pure potassium or MAYBe rubidium or a SLight chance u find a place that sells cesium, then to that.....but if you got Francium.....youce got a MASSIVE bomb....i mean huge....but nowhere will sell u bulk francium because of its danger when exposed to water lol
