Best sub for the job...

Alright, imagine for a second that you listened to this kind of music: http://www.purevolume.com/download.php?id=77494 (right click --> save as...I know you may not like it...but just look at the style of music)

Would this work best for what I am looking for?

Amp: Memphis Audio 16-MC500D (500watts @ 2ohms)

Sub: Resonant Engineering SE 12" (Dual 4ohm voice coils)

I'm looking for SQ above anything else...I still want to be able to hear and I don't want to be flat broke! I want a full sound...not just a loud one...what do you think and what would you prefer? I'm looking at $500 for the sub + amp (ebay)...not incl. box or wiring...

you can probably get that sub/box combo for around $300 used or $400 brand new.

the Image Dynamics IDQ is on sale on Sounddomain if you want another good option for SQ like sub, and there are plenty of RE HCs for sale on the net right now
