I'm going to purchase a set of component speakers. I have a 1990 Mercedes Benz 350SDL and in the car there's a total of six speakers... My friend told me to go with Diamond Audio's component system. Can someone tell me what's best? The front side driver and passenger door fits 6.5" and the back speakers fits 6"x9".
Also I'm purchasing two subwoofers and an amplifier, the choice I've made are two 12" MTX Thunder8000 T8124 DVC (4-ohm) Subs and hook them up to a MTX Thunder8100d. Is this a good selection? I've done some research and the subwoofers can handle 400w RMS power, despite the Amplifier putting out 500w RMS (4-ohm) @ 12.2v, would it fry the subwoofers? Or will it give it more power and still be alive? Please post your advice, thanks everyone~!
