Well, I'm soon going to be doing an install in some 1987 jeep for my friend's sister (which will be 2 RE8's and an ma m283i amp). Well, minus the MA audio. I did a little last minute research and noticed that it only had a 25 Amp fuse on it. hmmm... So its best possibiltiy at 100% efficiency @ 14.4v would only be 360 watts. I guess it is true what I've read - that they rate their amps at 17volts. Because that's the only way it would ever achieve its 400 watts max..
Anyway, I decided to scratch that amp and go with the Profile CA400, which actually has two 20 amp fuses (much like that funny-a$$ amp I just saw on the 'LMAO at this amp' thread) and has a bit better standing as a good budget amp.
