How is Audiobahn do as a Amp brand name? The one I'm looking at is the A2200HCT to power two Rockford Fosgate Punch Hx2 RFD 2112 12" Subs. Then power my speakers with a Audiobahn A6004T 4 channel amp.

If no good what would you guys suggest?

Man, I just hooked my friends 2200hct in my car this past weekend. I have never been a fan of audiobahn but, I was very impressed with it. Ive had a good deal of 2000+ watt amps and all in all, for the money I would say its a worthy investment.

The factory rates it at 800w x 2 @ 12V's, given a potent electrical system it will put out an excess of 2000w's IMO. I bridged it to a 1/2 ohm ( I know a guy running 2 of them bridged at 1/4 ohm daily, and has been for a while) and it wasnt as loud as the 2 KX1200's I took out, but it was considerably close IMHO.

It takes up a good deal of space, but the variable SSF, and the ease of installation were a plus. If it was possible to fit 2 in my trunk I would seriously consider buying a couple of them. I wonder what the 2300hc sounds like?

I think Ill write about it in the review section. If you didnt gather, I would give a thumbs up if the price is right.

i have an audiobahn a2300hct that i had in my 98 monte carlo until it got wrecked and i must say i was impressed with it. it was powering two audiobahn awt12x's so i know it can get louder than how i had it since it is 1200 watts at 2 channels like i had it. if i had one on each sub, they each would have seen 2400 watts, which is a lot closer to what they should be seeing to be their best (2000w).

but being 2000 watt subs, they still hit very hard at 1200 watts. either that or it put out a little more than 1200 watts, i never had the chance to test it.

i was actually gonna start a thread asking about the 6004T.. is it RCA in/speaker out? looking at pictures, it's a little weird lookin, and it says it has rca level in (low-level) and speaker level in (high-level).. what does that mean, exactly?
