Like I said, I was going to go with an X61, until I learned that there is no touchpad, and only the touchpoint, which I'm not a fan of.

On another note, I just ordered 2- 2gig sticks of A-Data ram from NewEgg, and 2 sticks of 1gig for my g/f's rig.

Got the laptop today (on it now), and this ****er flies.

First thing I did was install the 4gigs ram (Vista recognizes 3.5gigs), then deleted/uninstalled all of the crap Dell put on, and disabled a bunch of Vista programs/utilities that I have no use for.
