Real ones are very good by the way. I'm sure stolen ones would be just as good. Fake ones... probably not so much.

I liked the specs and have read some good things about ID's...

all but one person that left feedback for them were pleased with them...one said he had a bad tweeter and left neg feedback another left positive and bought a 2nd set....your probably just cutting out the middle man and saving monies by buying straight from the source

There is no reason to be buying speakers from Malaysia if you are in the U.S. - there are more deals here... those foreign countries are where most of the fakes are coming from. Just say no.

there was an old thread about the speakers from malaysia being fakes. the logos were off centered. the grill was differant. loooots of things that can tell there fakes. cant seem to find the thread though.

Image Dynamics has a good history of making very nice 6.5" mids. I'm surprised WoofersEtc.com doesn't list technical specs on those speakers. I would get these instead: WoofersEtc.com - CX62 V2 - Image Dynamics 6.5" 2 Ohm Mid-bass Drivers

Most people just don't know the difference. Hell, most people think stock audio is fine... somehow.
