good SPL for low-end subs, decent SQ

will you be dissapointed? depends on you, if all you have heard is Sonys and Kenwoods, then no you won't, but if you are used to high-end stuff then yes

Unless you did an out of this world install, yes, you would be very disappointed.

i have seen that two 10 inch versions of these are capable of 140 db with 450 watts rms but with the 12's i would expect a little more but id imagine the sq on the kickers wouldnt measure up to your vegas as ive heard a comp vr 12.

ps...145 is good id keep the vegas

actually yamaha i was saying 2 ten inch kicker comp vrs did hit 140 db with 450 watts rms but was prob spl box

they'll hit good. Maybe I am lucky or the equipment I am using is ideal for Comp VR's cause I have been in the industry for 13 years and I am thoroughly happy with my VR's. I am a bass head so I am looking to upgrade, but with all the stuff I've owned, the CVR's can hold their own. I will say the JL's sounded a little better but the CVR's hit harder. I do plan on getting another PC2150 and running 2 12" L7's each one with its own PPI.
