Are the new fosgate woofers not good?

Ive been hearing a lot of things about the new fosgate punch woofers not being very good. I was looking into getting 2 12"s (p312d2). I was going to run a punch amp thats advertised at 1000w @ 2 ohm. If i was going to run two 12s in paralelle of this amp, is daul 2 ohm voice coils what i want or daul 4 ohm voice coils? Thanks for your help.

Get the dual 2ohm subs if you want to run the amp at 2ohms, and also I dont know about the punch but I heard the power stage 2 and was very impressed.

personally i would go get the last year model of the punches, they can handle a little mroe power, and i heard both of em and i like last years model better, plus, you can get likr 2 of the old ones for the price of one new one, but thats just me.

new punches have that rediculously flashy cone and very little performance, older model fo sho, or look into the power series if you have the $. Other subs to look at: Adire audio shiva, ED k, Kicerk CVR, Phoenix gold Titanium.
