anyone know the law about rent

Trying to find out what to do, I moved out of an apartment 2 1/2 months ago. I left it better then when I moved in, so I should get my deposit back. But I have not heard anything I call once a week but they never called me back.

When I moved out of my apartment my landlord met me there to inspect it & give me my deposit back and I handed over the keys. I would call and find out whats going on.
