I am narrowing my choices down to

I also welcome recommendations

But I also heard this - " Separate Amp + Subwoofer will always be more powerful than a powered subwoofer " do you agree or disagree? By the way I need as much space as possible, and therefore, Powered Subwoofer is the right choice for me.

Bang is a loose term. Most 8-10” powered slim under seat subs aren’t capable of producing the same low frequencies as their larger counterparts. I have a sound ordinance 8” that boasts like 180w but at 180w on an 8” just didn’t produce what I sought. It’s benefit was filling in that 50hz hole only. I suppose I bought it bc I wanted seat vibration and it did that. I also gave it a chance on its own reducing the 12”s output and it really had nothing to offer. My focal 6.5”s go to 55hz so any musica at that level is already represented. If a slim under seat sub is what you want or all you can fit then don’t have much bass expectation. It will fill a void in frequency but won’t rattle anything. As w any install power, ground, quality components, planning the layout and product research will inevitably lead to the best performance.
