Any experience with DD 2500??

was looking into trying something new in my Jeep..

Always wanted a DD sub, but never followed through on it. Was wondering what people paid for the 2500 series subs, 10 or 12 inch. I'm emailing DD for more info, but was wondering if people had some experience with them and could either sell me on them or turn me away..

Old setup was an HC 15" (2003 model) with a ppi pcx-2125 amp, 5.5 cubes ported tuned @ 35hz..

I want to try a sub that will work in around 2.5 cubes ported and have a good deep response SQ isn't much of an issue, i just want deep bass. I'm planning on using my PPI amp that is conservatively rated at 500w rms (haven't had the means to get it bench tested).

I was also looking into the SE 12". My price range is about 200-250 for the sub, because it's going in a Hardtop wrangler and theft is a little bit bigger of an issue than in other cars. Might also look into the L5, or L7... but i don't want kicker unless i have to.
