I know everyone probably gets sick of questions like this but i gotta ask. I've got a 98 gmc ext cab sierra and i plan to remove rear seat for a window height or smaller box cause i hate all the underseat setups i've had. I'm looking for 60/40 sq/spl......... i really likes sq and i listen to mostly alternative rock stuff and some country but from time to time when cruising and at truck shows i tend to want to throw in some lil jon or something and really throw down with my system. I have cdt cl 61s with 110 watts each for my front stage and its xtreme dynamatted. Most people seem to tell me to do 2-3 12" Id v3 subs

(non idmax) because they said they have great sq for the price (i'm building on budget of around 300 for subs). I am wondering though the id v3s are only about 100 each do they really sound that good and do they really get loud and low for what they are? If not do you have any other ideas that would meet my price needs and be 2-3 12s. BTW all setups would probably be ported in recommended size with rms power. thanks for any help you can give.

ps: i could do like 6 8" Re subs or something but i have no clue if those get loud and low lol i really dont know that many details of audio i'm kinda new to it but learning all that i can //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif since my last system did a 128.5 doh

lol 128 lol prolly mine did lower...and it was eclipse and kicker....****....anyways those 8's supposedly have REALLY REALLY good range, and if u can get 300 bucks for subs without tax and shipping do 6 re 8's being 50 a piece, u will thump deffinately ported

I would vote 12's, I love the ID's personally. The RE8's are nice, but worthless sealed, atleast i feel they are, and you really don't have the space to port them. They also cannot get that low, i'm not sure how some of the rediculous beats from lil jon, go, but most likely they would not be able to reproduce it. ED O's would also be a good choice, although they are a bit more expensive.

space wise i'd be fine i got 20H 20 deep 62 wide to deal with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but its budget for what i want thats biggest problems i spoe i could mayb edo like 4 10" RE series subs maybe

Got email from RE they said they'd hook me up with 6 8's for $250 where as 2 12" Ids are 250 hmmmmmmmmm decisions decisions. I was thinking if i did eights i'd run 4 counter sunk in like back of bench seat and then on lower corner behind calve on each side do one sub so that would be 6 8s and then run a big amp combinging all my fosgate amps for one big looking one with a custom cushion on top so it still all looked like a back seat but was packed with ported subs. Only problem is that RE says it would take 8 8's to equal 2 12s hmm haaha this stuff is hard to decide
