amp problems?!?!

At high volumes my subwoofers cut out but my amp still seems to be turned on. When i lower the volume my subs come back on after the amp makes a quiet clicking sound. By the way its an Orion 2500d at 1 ohm. Does anyone have any idea what my problem might be? thanks for any advice

could it be a problem with my electrical system? I wasnt sure because the amp stays on, but my subs just cut out untill i lower the volume then they come back on.

Sounds like the amp is clipping and going into protection mode. Should be fine @ 1ohm but make sure all of your connections are good, good ground and that you voltage is not dropping below 11 volts.

i dont think its a problem with the grounds any other suggestions? maybe a new battery or alternator idk....
