today i completed my first ever install. I have two problems;

The first is as soon as i connect the negative terminal to the battery my amp turns on (red led turns on) I dont know if its supposed to be like this. I'm assuming that its supposed to be on only when i put the keys into the ignition and turn the key. The remote turn on wire is connected directly to the remote speaker harness wire behind the deck. Can you guys help me out or give me suggestions?

The second problem is my sub rattling a little after it hits. It rattles a little but it gets annoying after a while cause im in it for sound quality. The sub that i have is a pg ti10 connected to a rockford 4080 dsm amp (bridged) in about a 1 cf sealed enclosure. please provide any input. thanks

yeahm i did that on my first install, i had no remote wire on my HU so, i wired the remote wire onto the batt (for a day, while testing) then I had it wired to a switch so it wouldnt kill my battery or amp, fuse it if its on the engine, but you said it wasnt so ok. I still have a switch for my remote wire, this would prolly solve ur prob, pick one up and some slide on connectors, many colors type to choose from.
